Ink spot

An Android app for ordering stationery and office supplies. Branches sign up with their bank, branch name and code, browse and search the catalogue, build a cart and place orders, then follow each order’s status and payment. Built in Flutter and published on Google Play.

Three InkSpot Android screens: branch login, the cart with a passbook cartridge, and an order with pending status

The challenge

InkSpot supplies stationery and office inventory to bank branches. The client wanted an app where each branch signs in once, orders from the catalogue in a few taps, and can always see what it ordered and where each order stands.

What I built

  1. 01

    Branch sign-up and login

Branches register with their name, bank (chosen from a list served by the API), branch name, branch code, phone and email, then sign in with branch name and code.

  2. 02

    Catalogue and search

A product grid with images and descriptions, search as you type, and add to cart from each card. The cart badge in the header updates as items are added.

  3. 03

    Cart and ordering

Change quantities, remove items or clear the cart, then place the order in one tap. There are no in-app payments; payment is settled with the supplier.

  4. 04

    Order history

Every order with its number, item count, total, date, order status and payment status, plus a details screen for each order.

  5. 05

    Profile, help and resilience

Profile and edit profile, a help screen with support contacts, light and dark themes, and connectivity checks so the app handles going offline.
